Southern Africa: Delta & Falls

Following directly on from our Dunes & Salt Pans Tour is our 7 day Delta & Falls Tour, which takes us into Botswana and Zimbabwe. The adventure starts immediately after landing in Maun, as we take to the skies again in light planes to go deep into the Okavango Delta. The flight will help you see the extent and size of this delta and subject to weather conditions, we will have good viewing of wildlife from the air as we make our way to the lodge. We explore the streams of the delta in Mokoros, the modern day version of dug out canoes, as well as taking a bush walk and gaining an understanding of life here from our Polers. We fly back out of the delta and move to Chobe National Park where a plethora of wildlife awaits us, both on and off the river. The sunsets on the river are stunning and the Hippos are amazing to watch! The final sector of the tour takes us into Zimbabwe and to Victoria Falls.
